Section 243 (1) of the Companies Act 1993
Guru NZ Limited (In Liquidation) was placed into liquidation at Auckland High Court on 13 February 2025 and the Official Assignee was appointed liquidator.
On 3 March 2025 Kare Johnstone and Andrew Grenfell, Chartered Accountants and Licensed Insolvency Practitioners of McGrathNicol in Auckland, were appointed by China Construction Bank (New Zealand) Limited as Receivers and Managers of the property of the Company under the powers contained in a security agreement dated 8 February 2022.
Notice is given that an audio-visual meeting of creditors will be held on Tuesday, 20 May 2025 commencing at 11.00am.
Creditors of the company will be sent a MS Teams link to the meeting.
The liquidator has called this meeting at the request of a creditor to:
- Receive any views of creditors in relation to the liquidation; and
- Vote on a proposal that the Official Assignee apply to the Court for the appointment of a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner of Waterstone Insolvency as Liquidator in place of the Official Assignee.
Creditors may exercise their right to vote online, or by appointing a proxy or by postal vote. Proxies and postal votes should be received by the Official Assignee no later than 10.00am Friday 16 May 2025.
