- Creditor information
Are you owed money?
If you are owed money by a person who has entered into an insolvency procedure such as bankruptcy, a No Asset Procedure (NAP) or a Summary Instalment Order (SIO), or if you are owed money by a company that has gone into liquidation, you are a creditor.
If you have received notification of the person’s insolvency from either the Official Assignee or Summary Instalment Order Supervisor, the Official Assignee will be aware of your debt and will ask you to file a claim if there is likely to be a dividend to creditors.
If you have heard about the person’s insolvency from some other source, then the Official Assignee may not be aware of your debt. In this case, please file a claim.
